Why do Pilates with Greville?<\/h2><\/div>


Greville is a professional aerialist and all-round circus performer with a background in gymnastics and dance. He has a wide range of aerial and ground-based skills and works for a variety of projects for circus, theatre, film and TV, arenas, cabaret, burlesque nights, festivals and theme parks both in the UK and all over the world. He has been teaching aerial and acrobatics (1:1 and group classes) since 2008.
 
Like many people Greville came to Pilates because of a back injury \u2013 he was recommended it by a physiotherapist. Once he started, he was hooked! He is now stronger, has better posture, alignment and a greater range of movement than he did in his 20\u2019s. Pilates is the reason he is still a working aerialist in his late 40\u2019s! It is part of his training regime and he uses many exercises and concepts whilst teaching circus classes. Greville graduated from the Body Control Pilates matwork course in Jan 2022.
 
Unsurprisingly Greville is very interested in how Pilates can benefit circus and physical performers. As well as in people who live more conventional lifestyles. His classes focus on the core and alignment and incorporates some exercises from the circus. Classes will be tailored to your needs.

Greville teaches 1:1 matwork classes.
All his classes are in a 6-week blocks
He offers a taster block of 3 classes to see if Pilates is right for you.
Private sessions are perfect for those who want a tailor-made session for themselves or to share with a friend or partner. Progression is faster in private sessions and your technique can be refined with ease. Private sessions have the added advantage of being offered at a time that\u2019s convenient to you.
